Photographer Jimmy Tohill has been capturing moments of Alaska's endless beauty with his camera and his poetry since he first came to Alaska as a river guide in 1987. He and his wife Vicki Tohill live in their self-built log home in Healy and own and operate OLD SOURDOUGH STUDIO located at Mile 239 Parks Highway in the McKinley Chalet Resort's Courtyard Cafe at Denali.

Jimmy's line of 26 wildlife and scenic "ALASKA PHOTOS and POEMS" note cards, three 18"x24" Alaska Posters and 5"x7" Denali Postcard are available at gift shops throughout Alaska as well as through this web site. Galleries of Jimmy Tohill's photography are located in the McKinley Chalet Resort's Courtyard Cafe at Denali National Park and the Chamber of Commerce building in Healy.

At OLD SOURDOUGH STUDIO you can dress in authentic Alaskan clothing and step on the runners of a working dog sled or be the passenger in the sled with a real scribe-fit log cabin backdrop. Saddle up and ride a moose, grizzly, salmon or caribou. Stand on the summit of Denali or in front of an igloo with the Northern Lights and the Big Dipper in the background.
